Even though these are all planes and not planets the Khajiit were able to get to one of the moons by climbing up on each other to make a tower and just go there directly.Įbony, one of the materials in TES, is the blood of the dead-ish god Lorkhan. Mannimarco became a god but he is a very small god so he just became a "moon" "orbiting" the plane of Arkay, god of death.
Also the moons that are planes are also Lorkhan's dismembered corpse apparently. Is it required for plants to grow? Maybe, but clearly not by the same mechanism that the sun in real life does since as established it's not actually a star. But it somehow still generates a day/night cycle. The sun is not a giant fusion engine but rather a hole in reality created by a god going "fuck you Lorkhan you ain't my nigga, I'm outta here", and magic pours out of it. They are planes, that the human eye perceives as round.
Well it's flat-out obvious that Tamriel's physics isn't our physics, I mean for starters it's not a planet, it's a plane, and the same with the moons and with the other worlds.
